Long range is the mile figure on the page, next to a battery size. Touring is whether the motor can use a low gear when the day gets long. A cruiser with 85 miles and a mid-drive with 46 miles are different answers. This page keeps them apart.
This best long-range touring e-bikes shortlist uses Tenways and Fiido pages checked October 19, 2026. At time of writing, in October 2026, the longest pedal-assist claim on one battery is the Tenways Wayfarer. The AGO X is the mid-drive with a printed tire. The Fiido Nomads Pro is the higher torque number on a smaller standard battery. The Nomads is the hub, and its weight cell is blank. We have not ridden them.
A cargo bike with a large battery is a different job. The T2's 998.4Wh pack is in the cargo guide. A bike under about 40 pounds is the lightweight commuter guide. The touring hub is this page.
What a long day actually needs
One range line, and the conditions if the page prints them. The Wayfarer says up to 85 miles pedal assist, and 35 miles on the throttle, and that the result moves with temperature, the road, and the rider's weight. The AGO X says up to 62 miles. The Nomads comparison table says 49.30 miles for one battery. The Nomads Pro says 46.50 miles. None of those is a loaded weekend we measured.
Watt-hours next to the miles. The Wayfarer battery is 720Wh. The AGO X blurb says 504Wh and the spec page says 36V 14Ah. The Nomads and Nomads Pro spec lists say 417.6Wh. A bigger mile claim on a smaller battery is a claim, not a larger tank.
A gear the motor can use. The AGO X and the Nomads Pro are mid-drives. The Wayfarer and the Nomads are rear hubs. A hub does not gain a climbing gear by having a cassette. That limit is the same one in the steep-hills guide.
Tenways Wayfarer
On November 2, 2026 the Tenways Wayfarer (opens in a new tab) was $1,699, from $2,199. Sapphire Blue and Meteor Gray were both in stock. The October 19 cart was $1,799. Tenways had a seasonal campaign banner on the US site. This is the variant price, not a discount we calculated. The spec page says a 750W peak rear hub and 65 Nm. A nominal watt figure is not printed. The battery is 48V, 720Wh. Pedal-assist range is up to 85 miles. Throttle range is listed separately at 35 miles. Default max assist is 20 mph. Adjustable max speed is 28 mph. A class number is not on the spec page.
Full weight is 66 pounds with mudguards, kickstand, and a rear carrier. Net weight is 63 pounds. The page allows plus or minus 3 to 5 percent. Payload is 264 pounds. Tires are Kenda 27.5 by 2.6 inch. Gearing is Shimano 8-speed. Brakes are hydraulic discs with a power cut-off. The page calls it a cruiser. It does not say step-through, and it does not print a rider height.
Eighty-five miles is why it is first. It is not first because it is a touring frame. The city commuter guide uses the same bike as a comfort commuter.
Tenways AGO X
The Tenways AGO X (opens in a new tab) was $1,899, from $2,499, on November 2, 2026. Ocean Blue XL was in stock. M and L were not. The October 19 cart was $1,999. The spec page says a Bafang M410 mid-drive, 250W and 80 Nm. The product blurb says 504Wh. The spec page says 36V 14Ah and does not repeat watt-hours. The table keeps 504Wh. Range is up to 62 miles. Top speed on the spec page is 20 mph.
Tires are CST 29 by 2.25 inch. That is a touring width, not a 4 inch fat tire. The fat-tire guide kept this bike so that distinction stays visible. Net weight is 59 pounds. Full weight is 64 pounds. The table uses 64. A payload is not printed. Gearing is Shimano 10-speed. The fork is an SR Suntour lockout. Brakes are hydraulic discs. It does not fold. Rider height is not on the spec page. The belt mid-drive is the AGO T. It was sold out and does not print a mile claim. That row is the belt-drive guide.
Fiido Nomads Pro
The Fiido Nomads Pro (opens in a new tab) standard build was $1,999, in stock in M and L, on November 2, 2026 as well as October 19. The compare-at field was $1,539, which is lower than the selling price, so we are not showing a discount. The extender was $2,699, with a compare-at of $2,199, and the same problem. The cart label says 75 km for the standard and 225 km for the extender. The comparison table says 46.50 miles. A performance line says 46.51 miles for the single battery and 139.53 miles for the extender. The cell keeps 46.50. The $1,999 price is the standard pack.
The drive unit is a 250W mid-drive. Torque of 100 Nm is the comparison table's Motor cell. The battery is 417.6Wh. The spec list says 57.8 pounds and a 264.6 pound payload. The comparison table says 57.72 and 264.55. The table uses the spec list. Tires are CST 29 by 2.1 inch. Gearing is Shimano Cues 9-speed, 40 tooth, 11–36. The fork is a 120 mm air spring. M is 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 3 inches. L is 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 7 inches. A class number is not printed.
Forty-six miles on 417.6Wh is a shorter claim than the Wayfarer's 85 miles on 720Wh. The mid-drive and the 11–36 are the reason to look at it anyway.
Fiido Nomads
The Fiido Nomads (opens in a new tab) standard build was $1,429, from $1,539, in stock in M and L. The extender was $2,089, from $2,199, and in stock. The cart label on the standard says 79 km. The comparison table says 49.30 miles for one battery. An extender mile figure is not printed.
The spec drive unit says a 250W permanent-magnet brushless geared motor. It does not say hub. The product filter tags it a rear hub, so the table says rear hub and the note says the drive-unit line does not. Torque of 45 Nm is the comparison table. The battery is 417.6Wh. Payload is 264 pounds. Tires are 29 by 2.1 inch. Gearing is Shimano 9-speed, 44 tooth, 11–32. Brakes are Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic discs. The sensor is a Mivice S200 torque sensor. The fork is 120 mm.
Weight is blank. The spec list says 54.5 pounds. The comparison table prints 54.5 and 54.9. We did not average them.

How to read the blanks
- Tenways Wayfarer. Listed at $1,699, from $2,199, on November 2, 2026. Sapphire Blue and Meteor Gray were both in stock. The October 19 cart price was $1,799. The product.js description was empty. Specs below are from the US Wayfarer spec page. A seasonal campaign banner was on the US site. This row uses the variant price.
- Tenways Wayfarer. The motor line is 750W peak rear hub, 65 Nm. A nominal watt figure is not printed.
- Tenways Wayfarer. The spec block names a Bafang high-precision torque sensor. Marketing copy on the same page also says the assist can switch between torque and cadence. The table keeps the spec-block sensor and does not add a second mode.
- Tenways Wayfarer. Battery is 48V, 720Wh, LG 21700 cells, UL 2580. Default max assist is 20 mph. Adjustable max speed is 28 mph. Throttle range is listed separately at 35 miles. A class number is not on the spec page.
- Tenways Wayfarer. Net weight is 63 lb excluding accessories. Full weight is 66 lb with mudguards, kickstand, and rear carrier. The page says weight figures have a tolerance of plus or minus 3 to 5 percent. The table uses 66.
- Tenways Wayfarer. The product page calls it a cruiser. It does not say step-through, and it does not print a rider-height range. Geometry is one size, in millimeters, with no height band attached.
- Tenways AGO X. Listed at $1,899, from $2,499, on November 2, 2026. Ocean Blue XL was in stock. Ocean Blue M and L were not. The October 19 cart price was $1,999. Tenways had a seasonal campaign banner on the US site. This row uses the variant price, not a discount we calculated.
- Tenways AGO X. The US spec page prints a Bafang M410 mid-drive as 250W power and 80 Nm. A separate peak watt figure is not printed.
- Tenways AGO X. The product blurb prints 504Wh. The spec page prints 36V 14Ah and does not repeat watt-hours. Those two lines agree if you multiply them, and the table keeps the printed 504Wh.
- Tenways AGO X. Tires on the spec page are CST 29 by 2.25 inch. That is not a fat tire. Net weight is 59 lb. Full weight is 64 lb. The table uses 64. A payload is not printed.
- Tenways AGO X. It does not fold. Rider height and a class number are not on the spec page.
- Fiido Nomads Pro. The standard build was $1,999 and in stock in M and L on October 19, 2026. The compare-at field was $1,539, which is below the selling price, so this row does not show a discount. The extender was $2,699, with a compare-at of $2,199, and the same problem.
- Fiido Nomads Pro. The cart label is 75 km for the standard and 225 km for the extender. The comparison table says 46.50 miles. A performance line on November 2 also says 46.51 miles for the single battery and 139.53 miles for the extender. The cell keeps 46.50 because the comparison table and the performance line do not match. The extender mile is not this row's price.
- Fiido Nomads Pro. The spec list says 57.8 lb and 264.6 lb. The comparison table says 57.72 lb and 264.55 lb. The table uses the spec list.
- Fiido Nomads Pro. The drive unit says 250W mid-drive. Torque of 100 Nm is the comparison table's Motor cell. The sensor line is Mivice X700. Fork travel is 120 mm, air spring. A class number is not printed.
- Fiido Nomads. The standard build was $1,429, from $1,539, in stock in M and L on October 19, 2026. The extender variant was $2,089, from $2,199, and in stock. The cart label on the standard is 79 km. The comparison table says 49.30 miles for one battery. An extender mile figure is not printed.
- Fiido Nomads. Bike weight is blank because the spec list says 54.5 lb and the comparison table prints both 54.5 lb and 54.9 lb.
- Fiido Nomads. The spec drive unit says a 250W permanent-magnet brushless geared motor and does not say hub. The product filter tags it a rear hub. Torque of 45 Nm is the comparison table's Motor cell.
- Fiido Nomads. The sensor is a Mivice S200 torque sensor. Fork travel is 120 mm. The comparison table marks it not foldable. A class number is not printed.
A dash is unpublished, or two lines on the same page disagreed. The Nomads weight dash is that disagreement. The AGO X payload dash is a missing line, not a zero.
How to choose without a test ride
If the plan is the longest printed pedal-assist figure on one battery, the Wayfarer says 85 miles and 720Wh, and it is a cruiser. If the plan is a mid-drive and a 29 inch tire, the AGO X says 62 miles and was in stock in XL only. If the plan is the 100 Nm comparison-table figure, the Nomads Pro standard battery says 46.50 miles, and the extender is still a kilometer label. Add a margin to every one of those claims. A brand's eco-mode number is not your loaded day.

What we are not saying
Four bikes, not every long-range e-bike for sale. We are not ranking by commission. Engwe's US catalog that day did not have a touring bike with a clean range line we had not already filed under fat tire or hills. The order is the longest mile claim, then the mid-drive with a tire size, then the higher torque on a smaller standard battery, then the hub whose weight the page states twice.
