About
eBike Research is an independent research site run by the eBike Research team. The point of the site is narrow: match an e-bike to the rider's body and the terrain, using numbers the manufacturer actually published.
These guides were not written from test rides. The eBike Research team has not ridden the bikes covered here. The site is not a shop, and it does not present a mechanic's certification or a lab. When a sentence describes how a bike feels, it is not in these articles. When a sentence quotes a weight, a torque figure, or a price, it comes from the brand's own page, and that page is linked at the bottom of the guide.
Owner comments are used only when they appear on the manufacturer's site, and they are labeled as one person's report. A blank cell in a spec table means the number was not published, or two official pages disagreed. We do not fill those in.
Some product links may earn a commission after affiliate programs approve the site. Until then they point at the brand's ordinary product page. The affiliate disclosure explains how that works. Commission is not a reason to prefer one bike over another.
Questions and corrections go to hello@ebikeresearch.com. If a spec on a brand page changes, that email is the right place to send the link.
