A belt drive is a maintenance choice. It is quiet, it does not want oil, and it is usually one speed unless the page adds a gearbox. It does not make a small battery into a long ride, and a sold-out belt is not a bike you can order.

This best belt-drive electric bike shortlist uses Fiido and Tenways pages checked October 26, 2026. At time of writing, in October 2026, the in-stock belt bike is the Fiido Air. The Tenways CGO600 Pro belt, the CGO800S, and the AGO T were sold out. A Tenways early-access banner was on the site. The prices below are the variant prices, not a spin prize. We have not ridden them.

The weight question, including the Air at 30.3 pounds, is the lightweight guide. A chain commuter you can order this week is the city commuter guide. The belt-drive hub is this page.

What a belt page has to print

The word belt, on the drivetrain line. The Air spec block says a Gates CDN belt. The CGO600 Pro page says a Shimano 8-speed chain or a Gates carbon belt. The CGO800S spec page says a Gates belt, single speed. The AGO T says a Gates carbon belt and an Enviolo stepless hub. A cruiser with a chain is not this list. The Wayfarer spec page says a Shimano 8-speed.

Stock for the belt variant, not the chain variant. On the CGO600 Pro page, two chain sizes were in stock at $1,499. Every belt size was unavailable at $1,899. Buying the chain because the belt photo is pretty is a different bike.

A battery you can plan. The Air prints 208.8Wh and no single range. The AGO T prints 504Wh and no range. The CGO800S prints 36V 10.4Ah and no watt-hours. We did not multiply voltage by amp-hours.

Fiido Air

The Fiido Air (opens in a new tab) was $1,979, from $3,079. M, L, and XL were in stock on October 26, 2026. M is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, L is 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 3 inches, and XL is 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 9 inches.

Net weight is 30.3 pounds. The feature list calls 35 Nm a peak torque on a 250W brushless motor. The spec block names the drive unit Mivice M070 250W. Payload is 264 pounds. Tires are 700 by 40C. The drivetrain is a Gates CDN belt, 60 tooth crank, 22 tooth cog. Brakes are hydraulic discs. It does not fold. Claimed range is not a single figure, so the cell is blank. The XL height is in the tall-rider guide. The weight is the point of the lightweight guide.

Tenways CGO600 Pro belt

The Tenways CGO600 Pro (opens in a new tab) belt builds, single speed, were $1,899 in M, L, and XL, in Sky Blue, Pebble Grey, and Midnight Black. Every one of those was unavailable. Sky Blue M and Pebble Grey M chain builds were $1,499, from $1,899, and in stock. The chain row elsewhere on this site still shows the October 16 price of $1,599.

The headline says 37 lb and up to 53 miles, a rear hub, a magnetic torque sensor, and a portable battery. Watts, a torque number, watt-hours, tire size, payload, and a class are not printed. A single rider-height range for M, L, and XL was not in the block we copied. The page does not describe a fold. This row is the belt. The chain bike is the lightweight guide's row.

Tenways CGO800S

The Tenways CGO800S (opens in a new tab) in Pebble Grey, Sky Blue, and Deep Pink was still $1,699, from $1,999, and unavailable on October 26, 2026. Midnight Black was still $1,999 and unavailable. That matches the October 19 check.

The spec page says a Mivice M080 350W rear hub and 45 Nm. A peak watt is not printed. The sensor is a Mivice S200B torque sensor. Top speed is 20 mph. Range is up to 53 miles. The battery line is 36V 10.4Ah. Watt-hours are not printed. Net weight is 46 pounds. Full weight is 51 pounds. Max load is 264 pounds. Tires are CST 700 by 48C. The drivetrain is a Gates belt, single speed. Brakes are Tektro hydraulic discs. The description says relaxed upright geometry. It does not say step-through, and it does not print a rider height. The city commuter guide uses the same sold-out row.

Tenways AGO T

The Tenways AGO T (opens in a new tab) was $2,699 in Pearl White, Midnight Black, and Jungle Green, and every color was sold out. The crossed-out price was the same $2,699, so we are not calling it a sale.

The page prints a Gates carbon belt, an Enviolo stepless shifting hub, an 80 Nm mid-drive, a 504Wh portable battery, an integrated torque sensor, a hydraulic lockout fork, and hydraulic disc brakes. Watts are not printed. Range is not printed. Bike weight, payload, tire size, and a class are not printed. One size is for riders from 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 5 inches. The page does not say step-through. A mid-drive that can use a low gear is a different tool. This one uses a stepless hub instead of a cassette. The steep-hills guide is where a cassette mid-drive is the question.

Specs side by side

How to read the blanks

  • Fiido Air. Listed at $1,979, from $3,079. Sizes M, L, and XL were in stock on October 16, 2026, and still in stock at the same price on October 26, 2026.
  • Fiido Air. The feature list calls 35 Nm a peak torque on a 250W brushless motor. The spec block names the drive unit Mivice M070 250W and does not repeat torque. The product is tagged rear hub.
  • Fiido Air. Claimed range is not a single published figure, so range is blank. A filter tag on the page says 70 to 100 km, which is a bucket, not a spec.
  • Fiido Air. The bike does not fold. It is here because 30.3 lb is the lightest Fiido weight on the US store that day.
  • Fiido Air. M is listed for 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, L for 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 3 inches, and XL for 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 9 inches.
  • Tenways CGO600 Pro Belt. Every belt variant was $1,899 and unavailable on October 26, 2026. Sky Blue M and Pebble Grey M chain builds on the same page were $1,499, from $1,899, and in stock. The chain row in the lightweight guide still shows the October 16 price of $1,599.
  • Tenways CGO600 Pro Belt. The page headline says 37 lb and up to 53 miles, then 'Shimano 8-speed chain drive or Gates carbon belt drive.' Watts, torque, watt-hours, tire size, payload, and a class are not printed.
  • Tenways CGO600 Pro Belt. Belt variants are offered in M, L, and XL. A single rider-height range for those sizes is not in the block we copied, so rider height is blank. The page does not describe a fold.
  • Tenways CGO800S. Pebble Grey, Sky Blue, and Deep Pink were $1,699, from $1,999, and unavailable on October 19, 2026. Midnight Black was $1,999 with no compare-at price, and also unavailable. The row price is $1,699. Check current stock.
  • Tenways CGO800S. The spec page says a Mivice M080 350W rear hub and 45 Nm. A peak watt figure is not printed. The sensor is a Mivice S200B torque sensor. Top speed is 20 mph. A class number is not printed.
  • Tenways CGO800S. The battery line is 36V 10.4Ah. Watt-hours are not printed, so the battery cell is blank.
  • Tenways CGO800S. Net weight is 46 lb excluding accessories. Full weight is 51 lb including accessories. Max load is 264 lb. The table uses 51. The product description calls the geometry relaxed and upright. It does not say step-through, and it does not print a rider height.
  • Tenways CGO800S. Tires are CST 700 by 48C. Drivetrain is a Gates belt, single speed. The fork is an SR Suntour suspension fork.
  • Tenways AGO T. Pearl White, Midnight Black, and Jungle Green were $2,699 and sold out on October 26, 2026. The compare-at price that day was the same $2,699. On November 2, 2026 every color was still sold out at $2,699, and the variant list had no compare-at price.
  • Tenways AGO T. The product page prints a Gates carbon belt, an Enviolo stepless hub, an 80 Nm mid-drive, a 504Wh portable battery, an integrated torque sensor, a hydraulic lockout fork, and hydraulic disc brakes.
  • Tenways AGO T. Watts, claimed range, bike weight, payload, tire size, and a class number are not printed. One size is listed for riders from 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 5 inches. The page does not say step-through.

A dash means the page left it out. The Air range dash is a missing single figure. The CGO800S battery dash is 36V 10.4Ah with no watt-hours. The AGO T range and weight dashes are figures the product page does not print. The CGO600 Pro belt is missing watts, torque, and a tire size.

How to choose without a test ride

If you can order a belt this week, the Air is the row, and 208.8Wh is the limit on the trip. If you want 37 pounds and a 53 mile claim and you can wait, the CGO600 Pro belt is the row that was empty. If you want a printed 20 mph cap and a belt, the CGO800S is the row, still without watt-hours. If you want a mid-drive, a belt, and a stepless hub, the AGO T is the row, at $2,699 and sold out, with no mile claim.

Prices were on the brand pages on October 26, 2026. The CGO800S price matched October 19. The Air price matched October 16. Check the button.

Accessories

A belt bike still needs a helmet, lights, and a lock. A belt does not replace any of those. We have not tested these on these bikes.

What we are not saying

Four belt listings from two brands, not every belt e-bike. We are not ranking by commission. The order is the bike you can order, then the sold-out 37 pound belt, the sold-out 20 mph belt, and the sold-out mid-drive. The Wayfarer is a cruiser with a chain. It stays in the touring guide.

Every number in the table comes from one of these manufacturer pages. Retailer and review sites were not used as spec sources.

Questions

What does a belt change, on the spec page?

A belt replaces the chain. The Fiido Air uses a Gates CDN belt. The Tenways CGO800S and the CGO600 Pro belt builds use a Gates belt and are single speed. The AGO T pairs a Gates belt with an Enviolo stepless hub. A belt does not add watts. It also does not tell you the range.

Why is the CGO600 Pro chain not the belt pick?

On October 26, 2026 Sky Blue M and Pebble Grey M chain builds were $1,499 and in stock. Every belt build was $1,899 and unavailable. The lightweight guide's chain row still shows the October 16 price of $1,599. Same bike page, different drivetrain and a different cart price.

Does the Fiido Air publish a range?

Not as one figure. The battery is 208.8Wh. A filter tag on the page says 70 to 100 km, which is a bucket, not a spec. The cell stays blank. The lightweight guide uses the same blank.

Were these bikes test ridden?

No. The eBike Research team has not ridden them. Specs are from Fiido and Tenways US pages on October 26, 2026, except where a cell was already copied on an earlier date and the page still matched.
